Event Introduction:
In recent years, many campuses have been gradually renovating their old restrooms. After on-site investigations and evaluations, it was found that campus public restrooms often only focus on basic functional needs, generally lacking specifications designed for student usage scenarios, and also lacking overall consideration for environmental aesthetics. In order to create a safe and comfortable learning and living space for junior high, high school, and elementary school students, we have formulated "Campus Public Restroom Design Guidelines," with "restroom aesthetics" as the core concept, promoting health and public health education, and further covering basic usage needs, environmental system construction, safety, and hygiene maintenance management and other multi-faceted indicators. This special topic will share the international trends and cases of public restroom design, campus public restroom discoveries and observations, and will also explain the content mentioned in the "Campus Public Restroom Design Guidelines" - how to improve the quality of campus public restrooms, and what to pay attention to when carrying out renovations.
