Event Introduction:
The Art and Aesthetic Seedling Plan promoted by the Ministry of Education recruits about a hundred university students each year, who are trained by art counseling teams, including the content of the new curriculum guidelines, teaching strategies, lesson plan design, teaching drills, joint preparation discussions, teacher involvement, and art icebreakers, to strengthen teaching enthusiasm and professional practice. During the summer vacation, university students go to remote schools across Taiwan to implement art teaching. The plan has a dual meaning: on the one hand, it cultivates future art teachers with aesthetic literacy and educational ability, and on the other hand, it brings diverse cultural stimulation and art enlightenment to children in remote areas. Since its promotion in 2014, it has cultivated more than 850 university students, served more than 100 schools, and 4,500 elementary school students, injecting crucial momentum to narrow the gap in aesthetic education between urban and rural areas and promote educational equity.
