In 2023, the Ministry of Education officially launched the 3rd Phase of the Mid-to-Long Term Aesthetic Education Plan (5 years) under the guiding philosophy

“Aesthetics Is Life: From Early Enlightenment, Rooted in Daily Life, Local to International, Sustainable Practice.” The plan advances aesthetic education across five key dimensions: talent cultivation, curriculum implementation, learning environment, international linkages, and support systems, aiming to deepen and disseminate aesthetic education throughout Taiwan.

To echo this vision, the Ministry of Education has commissioned the Asia-Pacific Aesthetic Education Research Laboratory to organize the 2025 Aesthetic Education International Forum, emphasizing the deep connection between aesthetic education and everyday life, and exploring how technology and humanities can co-construct possibilities for future education.
